Ermmm, at first I'm not really sure whether I should post this entry or not. But then, why not kan...This is my blog and I have the right to write anything I like kan...Ok, whatever! Senyum je sambil typing...(^,*)

Actually, I've been working with a new company since last three months (16.04.2012). So,tomorrow genaplah three months kan. Last Friday, my HOD (Head Of Department) called me and show me the assessment result given by my officer. Range markah utk assessment tuh is between 1 to 5. 1 & 2 is consider NOT GOOD, 3 & 4 is AVERAGE & GOOD while 5 is VERY GOOD. My marks more to 4, ade 2 section je yg As dpt markah 3. In summary, my result is consider GOOD!! Of coz lah I'm proud of myself when I'd see the result kan. And bukan nak bongkak tapi I knew that I really deserved for it :p

Butttt....here is some comments from my HOD.
"Actually, I tak suke kalau I punye staff baru dpt markah assessment yg tinggi pada permulaan sbb klu u dpt markah yg tinggi nti u kena maintain kan u punye performance. If not, u punye performance akan menurun. So, I taknak staff I jadi macamni. I mmg tak suke bagi markah tinggi2 utk staff I. Biarlah markah yg I bagi tuh rendah and betul2 setimpal ngan u punye performance. Bukan mcm department lain, salu dpt markah tinggi2 but the reality is the staff is not really good. I tak nak macam tuh...!"

Fine, sure lah As tak cakap pape kan. I'm just listen to her at that time wlu pun dalam hati sumpah As memang tak setuju ngan die punye point tuh! Huhuuu....
Frankly speaking, she's got a very wrong point of view. As pun tak sure nape die punye mind set macam tuh kan. For me, if the staff is really perform good, then he or she deserved lah utk dapat result yg bagus kan. That's what you called fair & square. For sure lah staff tuh dah bekerja sebagus mungkin utk tunjukkan yg die mmg boleh buat keje and bukan datang keje with zero minded, zero knowledge and cukup bulan makan gaji buta kan.

Sebagai staff yg hanya makan gaji semata without any other commissions or whatever for sure lah boleh fight kat basic salary je kan. Tapi klu minded mcm tuh, mcmne la staff tuh nak fight utk salary tuh kan. Let say, from the actual performance the staff boleh dpt increment on the salary dlm 5%, tapi disebabkan HOD tak suke bagi markah tinggi2 so, tak pasal2 je staff tuh dpt 3% increment kan. Hello! It's seriously not fair ok! Kalau mcmtu baik tak payah nak perform bagus2. Wat keje ala kadar je lah kan. Macam itu kah yg anda mahukan wahai HOD??? *Sigh! (-.-)

This is my personal point of view la kan, as an employed staff for sure la kite fight utk salary je kan selain drp other benefits. Salary is a reward for us after kite dah berhempas pulas bekerja setiap bulan kan. Dengan salary tu lah kite meneruskan perjalanan hidup kite kan. Tapi, klu dpt HOD yg narrow minded mcm tuh, susah lah kan. Nak tak nak we have to speak out and stand for our right.

Some more that you should have know wahai my beloved HOD...
HOD department lain tuh memang lah consider tak bagus kalau dorang bagi markah yg tinggi utk staff yg sebenar2nya tak layak dpt markah tinggi kan. But HOD is still a human being. Maybe that HOD rasa hanye dorang je yg boleh tolong staff dorang utk dpt increment yg bagus so, HOD tuh pun bagi lah markah yg tinggi kan. Ini mmg consider SALAH sebenarnye!! Sorry! As tak boleh nak komen banyak2 utk part neh! Coz As sendiri pun tak setuju jugak ngan attitude HOD yg macam neh. This kind of attitude akan menjahanamkan lagi staff sebenarnye!

Whatever lah! I'm not really care about the other HOD. But I really care about you my HOD...Opss! I just care and worried on the way of your thinking actually. (^_*)
Please don't underestimate your staff. If the staff is perform well and good so, reward them fairly! Lantaklah, klu after that performance staff tuh drop ke ape ke! If the performance dropped then, estimate lah ikut yg sepatutnye kan. Itu dah consider tanggungjawab staff tuh sendiri utk keep well dorang punye performance kan! Takyah lah nak fikir bende yg belum and tak berlaku depan mate lagi. For now, pandang and nilai je ape yg ade depan mate. Easy rite...?

Sumpah! Susah nak faham ngan minded orang melayu neh! *Sigh!
